About Us

Truman Club Soccer was founded in 2007 to give men at Truman State University an opportunity to play competitive soccer without the time commitment required by varsity sports. We play our league season in the fall, and play friendlies and tournaments in the spring. We hold tryouts in the fall, but if you are interested in playing, we have open practices in both the fall and the spring. Check posts below for updates. Any questions can be directed to our president, Curt Ooton, at ceo8213@truman.edu.

Truman Heads Into Postseason Play

Kirksville - After completing the weekend with a tie and a win, Truman FC takes their 5-3-1 record and looks to put their successful season to the test.

With two weeks of training before the Region IV Tournament, Truman looks to add a few extra practices as well as a scrimmage before entering the tournament. President, Tyler Roper is also contacting the Truman Men's Varsity coach, Duke Cochran, about setting up an exhibition game this week in preparation for the tournament. Truman will have a tough time taking down last years national runner-ups, University of Missouri, but with the next couple weeks to prepare, Truman looks to become the "team to beat".

Truman will play the University of Missouri, University of Kansas, and Oklahoma University in pool play for the Region IV Tournament coming up on October 28th.
